Our natural eyelashes goes through a natural shedding cycle every 60-90 days, old natural lashes falls out and new lashes grows in immediately. When you wear semi permanent eyelash extensions, your old natural lashes falls out along with your false lashes, so it is recommended to have refills every 2 – 3 weeks.

Silk Eyelash Extensions 

The name of Silk Lashes suggests, that they are made from silk, but this is not true, silk lashes are made from synthetic fibers that is perfectly shaped into different thicknesses, curls and lengths. The bottom of the false lash is thicker and the top is thinner in order to make more natural look similar to our natural lashes. Silk Lashes are darker and more shiny than the faux mink lashes.

  Mink Eyelash Extensions (Faux Mink)

These semi permanent eyelash extensions are less darker and less glossy than silk eyelash extensions. The material of faux mink reminds of a Real Mink (fur mink) also they are less thinner from the bottom to the tip.

Real Mink Eyelash Extensions is a softest and the most lightest eyelash extensions. They are the most natural looking lashes comparing to the other semi permanent lashes you can get.

The length of a real mink lashes ranges from 8mm to 15mm long and there are few options to chose your desirable curl, but, unfortunately, there is no option to choose your desirable thickness as they are a real mink hairs and thickness of real mink eyelashes can range from thinner to thicker. The other important thing about real mink lashes is that when they get wet they can lose their curl easily, so if, for example, you had them quite curly when you had them done, they can lose that curly effect over the time. Also, not the best option for those women who has allergies to cat’s or dog’s hair. As regards the price range these would be significantly more expensive than Silk or synthetic Mink eyelashes as they are a real mink hair.
