Eyelash Extensions Aftercare
- For the first 24 hours try not to get wet your eyelash extensions
- For the first 48 hours avoid swimming, showers, saunas, Jacuzzis
- If you wear contact lenses it is recommended to wait 24 hours before reinserting them
- It is not recommended to undergo eyebrow shaping, tinting or waxing after eyelash extension treatment.
Other Important General Aftercare
- After other eyelash treatments such as perming and tinting, it is recommended to wait at least 72 hours prior to having your eyelash extensions applied
- Do not use heated or mechanical curlers on your eyelash extensions as this will break the bond between natural and semi permanent lashes
- When washing your face do not rub your eyelashes
- Pat your face dry after washing your face
- Avoid oil-based make-up products around your eyes area
- If using a mascara do not use a waterproof mascara use a water based or especially for semi-permanent lashes
- It is normal to lose few of the eyelash extensions during the first 24 hours as the glue is still setting
- Do not rub, twist, brush or touch your eyelash extensions excessively, try to be as gentle as you can
- Our natural eyelashes goes through a natural shedding process every 30-60 days, we are losing up to 5 natural lashes per day so and semi permanent lashes fall out along with our natural lashes, that is why after 2-3 weeks we normally need an infill. Also remember, everyone’s shedding cycle is different!
